Behrouz Neshan, Iranian producer of the acclaimed documentary ‘Kiarostami and His Missing Cane’, has joined the jury panel of the 9th edition of the Tenerife Shorts festival in Spain.

Tenerife Shorts or New Spanish international festival of short films is a project whose mission is to bring 50 international short films to the island of Tenerife, directly from the most important festivals and markets in the world, according to the official website of the festival.

“Tenerife Shorts wants to be a reference festival for the international short film scene. To do this, it works on a careful selection, based on criteria of quality and originality of the most outstanding works of the past year, through invitations, an open call, and the browsing of databases that host thousands of short films,” writes the event’s website.
